Why is the powder loading rate not high in the powder coating process?
1. Insufficient static voltage of the gun head, so that the powder is not sufficiently charged, not easy to adsorb to the surface of the workpiece
Solution:
A)Check the static voltage and adjust it up appropriately
B)Clean the electrode of the gun head
2. The static voltage is too high so the Faraday effect is pronounced and the concave part of the workpiece cannot be powdered.
Solution:
Off small voltage, standard spraying voltage is between 60kv-90kv
3. Poor grounding of the workpiece
Solution:
Check the grounding situation, including the hanging device
4. Powder ejection speed is too fast
Solution:
Properly reduce the powder pressure
5. Poorly placed the gun nozzle
Solution:
Adjust the nozzle orientation so that the powder cloud is sprayed directly into the recessed area
6. High content of superfine powder in the powder
Solution:
Pls reference the last blog
7. Powder spraying room air extraction volume is too large
Solution:
Reduced air extraction
8. Powder particle size is too coarse or specific gravity is too large
Solution:
When manufacturing powder, control the particle size distribution and coating specific gravity
